CH2M Hill Inc., Denver, hired Putnam to run $8 million in active international equities; PIMCO, $15 million, active domestic fixed income; Wasatch, $9 million, active domestic small-cap equities; and Franklin Templeton, $21 million, S&P 500 index fund.
Becker Capital had managed all of the $69 million pension plans assets, split evenly between active domestic midcap value equities and active domestic fixed income. Becker now manages $16 million in active domestic fixed income, said Rudd Little, director of benefits.
The plan wanted greater exposure to different parts of the market, he said.
