Eurex will begin trading options, priced in euros, on the 10 most liquid U.S. stocks, effective Sept. 24. Through a joint venture with German stock exchange Deutsche Börse, Eurex will start trading stock options on Cisco Systems Inc., IBM Corp., Intel Corp., Microsoft Corp., AOL Time Warner Inc., Citigroup Inc., EMC Corp., General Electric Co., Oracle Corp. and Sun Microsystems Inc.
This will be the first time derivatives in U.S. securities will be available in the European time zone, according to a release from Eurex.
