David Fassnacht, vice president at Wellington Management, was named assistant portfolio manager for the $18 billion Vanguard Windsor Fund, joining lead manager Charles Freeman. Wellington subadvises the Windsor Fund, which has $7.6 billion in institutional assets, for Vanguard. Mr. Freeman said the move reflects the contributions Mr. Fassnacht has made to the fund over the last 10 years.
