Maryland Teachers & State Employees Supplemental Retirement Plans, Baltimore, plans to search this summer for an administrator for its 457, 401(k), 403(b) and 401(a) plans, said Michael Halpin, deputy executive director. The current administrator for the $1.6 billion system is PEBSCO, whose contract expires at the end of 2002. PEBSCO, which has been the administrator since the 1970s, will be invited to participate in the search, he said.
