Kathleen Payne was named director of banking and investments at the $254 million University & Community College System of Nevada, Reno, replacing Stephen Salabar, who was named assistant vice president of Truckee Meadows Community College, Reno.
Ms. Payne was treasurer of the University of Vermont’s $172 million endowment fund, Burlington. Bonnie Cauthon, University of Vermont controller, will take on treasurer responsibilities, said Mary Lafayette, assistant controller at the university.
