Omaha (Neb.) Metropolitan Utilities District hired Lazard Asset Management to run an active international large-cap value equity portfolio, said Ronald Bucher, assistant general manager of administration for the $200 million plan. He would not disclose the size of the portfolio.
Funding will come from rebalancing, Mr. Bucher said, adding that the changes were made for diversification.
