New York State Teachers Retirement System, Albany, might review its equity holdings at an April 26 board meeting, said Candice Ronesi, spokeswoman. The $85 billion system had 57.2% of assets in domestic equities at the end of 2000, well within the target range of 45% to 65%, but its holdings might have shrunk in tandem with the markets fall in the first quarter.
Separately, the system will conduct its annual asset allocation review in July, she said.
