Philipe Bertrand and John Grady were named senior vice presidents of CDC IXIS Asset Management North America.
Mr. Bertrand, who was senior business controller at Societe Generale before joining CDC IXIS in January, will move to Boston from Paris. He will be responsible for facilitating communications on financial and technical issues, overseeing the firms risk management and acting as a liaison between the CDC IXIS Asset Management North America and its parent company in Paris.
Mr. Grady, who was vice president, will add the overall management of the organizations treasury and financing activities to his previous responsibilities.
Mr. Bertrand has been hired and Mr. Grady promoted because the company has grown due to the merger of Nvest and CDC IXIS and responsibilities will be greater, said Wendy Schoenfeld, communications manager at the firm.
