PanAgora Asset Management is launching the PanAgora Structured Market Neutral Strategy, the firms first market-neutral offering, as of March 31. It will be available to qualified investors, including institutions, hedge funds and high-net-worth individuals. The strategy will be managed by William Zink, director of structured investments, and Ken Masse, portfolio manager.
PanAgora invested its own capital in December 1999 to fund the strategy, which returned 32.7% in the one-year test period. Mr. Zink said the strategy, which invests in domestic equities, is designed to produce investment results that are independent of movements in the equity markets.
