Indiana State Police Pension Trust, Indianapolis, is searching for managers to run a total of $51 million in three active domestic equity styles: large-cap value, large-cap growth and small-cap broad or small-cap and midcap broad. The $300 million pension fund expects to allocate $18 million to each of the large-cap managers and $15 million to the small-cap manager. The value manager will be benchmarked to the S&P/BARRA Value index; growth, the S&P/BARRA Growth index; and small-cap, either the Russell 2000 or the Russell 2500 index. The moves result from asset-liability and asset allocation studies.
