Milwaukee County Employees’ Retirement System hired Westfield Capital Management to run $25 million in active domestic small-cap growth equities, replacing Goldman Sachs, which was terminated because of performance, said Jac Amerell, director of the for the $1.5 billion system. Tom Healy, Goldman Sachs spokesman, did not return calls by press time.
The system also will be increasing its benefit payments and adopting a deferred retirement option plan, said Mr. Amerell.
