Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirement System, Columbus, hired Eubel, Brady & Suttman to handle $5 million in active domestic small-cap to midcap value equities, and Pinnacle to run $5 million in active domestic small-cap to midcap core equities. The hirings complete the $650 million plans targeted entry in the asset class, said Richard Curtis, executive director. Brandywine was hired earlier in the fall to handle $40 million in active domestic small-cap to midcap value equities.
Funding for the new portfolios comes from reducing a $40 million S&P 400 index fund and a $40 million Russell 2000 growth index fund, and from rebalancing the plans internationational equity and real estate portfolios. Specific amounts were not available.
