Robert G. Wennemer was named vice president of pension fund investments and analysis at Alcoa Inc., Pittsburgh, starting in the first quarter of 2001. He will oversee Alcoas $8.3 billion pension fund, replacing Joseph C. Pellegrino, who will retire after 30 years at the firm.
Mr. Wennemer was vice president and treasurer of Alcoa. He will be replaced by William B. Plummer, who was president of Mead Corp.s Gilbert Paper Division.
