Indiana Public Employees Retirement Fund, Indianapolis, will issue RFPs for three international equity managers to handle a total of $1 billion. This is the $11 billion funds first allocation to the asset class, said E. William Butler, executive director. It will add an MSCI EAFE index fund, an MSCI EAFE enhanced index fund and an MSCI All-Country World (ex-U.S.) index fund. Funding will come from reducing the funds domestic equity allocation to 55%, from 65%. It will retain all of its existing domestic equity managers. Proposals will be accepted from Sept. 15 to Oct. 20. Mercer is assisting.
