State of Wyoming Loan and Investment Board, Cheyenne, will issue an RFP for an active large-cap growth domestic equity manager within a month. The $3 billion permanent fund has not determined the portfolio amount. Firms interested in receiving the RFP should contact the state treasurer’s office, the board or consultant R.V. Kuhns. The fund also hired State Street Global to run $500 million in an active S&P 500 index fund.
Funding for both portfolios will come from money that had been managed by the state treasurer’s office that has been transferred to the investment board.
