Ace Hardware Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., hired Disabato Associates to replace DeMarche as consultant to its $200 million 401(k) and $350 million profit-sharing plans. Sandy Brandt, treasurer at Ace, did not respond to a phone call asking why DeMarche was terminated.
The consultant will expand the 401(k) plan’s list of investment options from the current six, said Ted Disabato, managing director at Disabato; a new menu of funds is expected in the fall.
