It also approved an investment of up to $50 million in Cornerstone Apartment Fund I; and increased Forest Investment Associates' timber portfolio to $80 million from $40 million, funded from a timber portfolio managed by Wachovia Bank, which terminated its agreement with the system. In addition, the system committed up to $250 million to DLJ Merchant Banking III; up to $75 million to VantagePoint Venture Partners IV; and up to $200 million to Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe IX. Funding will come from cash.
