Morley Fund Management, a subsidiary of the CGU group, is moving into the United States by shifting the management of U.S. equities to Boston from London. Jane Fergusson and David Clott, currently with CGU Asset Management in Boston, will run the team, along with Sean Daykin of Norwich Union Investment Management.
NUIM is merging with Morley, which has £100 billion ($151 billion) in assets under management worldwide, said Gerry Holtham, chief investment officer for Morley. Ms. Fergusson and Mr. Clott will continue to run assets for CGU. Morleys four London-based U.S. equity managers will move to Rothschild Asset Management, added Mr. Holtham.
