New York City Retirement Systems, with $100 billion in assets, will issue an RFP for EAFE index managers on June 21, said Jane Levine, deputy comptroller for pensions. The contracts of Barclays Global Investors and State Street Global Advisors, which handle a total of $5 billion in EAFE funds for the systems, expire Dec. 31; both managers will be invited to rebid. Candidates must have at least $2 billion in EAFE index assets under management. Proposals will be due by July 31.
