Frank Russell issued its preliminary list of additions and deletions to the 21 Russell U.S. Equity indexes as part of its annual rebalancing on July 1. More than 600 companies will be added to the Russell 3000, including 300 IPOs. By comparison, 450 new companies were added last year. The final lists, which will be available July 10, are expected to show a higher concentration of technology stocks in the Russell 1000 and a significant decrease in technology-related stocks in the Russell 2000. Among the new names in the Russell 3000 is Hotjobs.Com. Among the stocks being deleted from the Russell 3000 is Dave & Busters.
