Public Employees Retirement System of Nevada selected four finalists in its search for two managers to run a $400 million Lehman Aggregate Bond index fund. They are: Mellon; Lincoln; Prudential Investments; and State Street Global Advisors. The managers each would run $200 million.
The $13.2 billion fund is expected to make its final selection sometime later this month.
It also renewed the Bank of New Yorks custodian contract for another five years. BoNY has been custodian for the past two years, said Laura Wallace, the funds chief investment officer.
