Amitabh Dugar joins PanAgora Asset Management next week as a senior international equity portfolio manager, one of four staff positions the firm has filled in the past month. Mr. Dugar was an international quantitative analyst at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo.
Also, John W. Griffin was hired as an international equity portfolio manager March 1. Both are new positions. He was a principal and quantitative research strategist at Boston Partners Asset Management.
Michael P. Clark was hired March 22 as a domestic fixed-income portfolio manager, a new position. He was an interest rate product analyst at Royal Bank of Canada, where he was on a team that developed the risk management procedures for the banks high-yield and global credit derivatives strategies.
PanAgora also restructured its marketing strategy, creating an opening for a senior institutional sales manager, which will be filled by Deborah Perry, who starts next week. She was a senior institutional saleswoman at BaringAsset Management.
