Greenfield (Mass.) Town Retirement System is searching for a manager to run $2.8 million in core small-cap equities and a manager to run $1.4 million in a core real estate portfolio; both are new asset classes for the $28 million fund. The search follows a recent asset allocation study. The deadline for RFPs is April 25.
Funding will come from cutting back allocations to existing managers. The funds new asset allocation is 40% domestic large-cap stocks, 10% domestic small-cap stocks, 10% international stocks, 5% real estate and 35% fixed income. The previous allocation was 60% stocks and 40% fixed income.
