Oregon Federation of Butchers, Tigard, hired Putnam Investments as a core international equity manager to run $7 million in an attempt to increase the $201 million Taft-Hartley pension trust funds international investment exposure. Funding will come from the funds fixed-income portfolio. Also, in May the fund will announce its decision in its search for two real estate managers to run $5 million each, said Gene Pronovost, union president. Consultant RV Kuhns recommended the searches. The fund is not requesting inquiries.
