Financial Engines today announced the firms investment advisory service, previously offered only to 401(k) plans, will include all tax-deferred plans, including 403(b), 457, IRA, Roth IRA, SEP-IRA and Keogh accounts.
The company also is including a number of fund families and fund supermarkets, eliminating the need for plan participants to type in their investment data, said Christopher Jones, vice president of financial research and strategy. The firm also can now look at and take into account all of a participants tax-deferred accounts, he added. And, the website will add mutual fund scorecards providing peer rankings on projected performance and historically based risk and return data on more than 10,000 funds, he said.
