Charles Brand was appointed to the new position of head of global equities at Morley Fund Management in an attempt to better coordinate the management of U.K. and international equities. Mr. Brand was head of international equities at the firm. Morley also restructured its U.K. large-cap equity desk into three teams grouped according to asset risk and client needs. Graham Crerar, head of U.K. equities, will be responsible for low-risk; Paul Marshall now heads medium-risk products and will manage mostly segregated and pooled pension funds; and Bradley Mitchell will head the specialist higher-risk team, which will look after international clients, unit trusts and other mutual funds.
