Patrick McGee and Randall Fojtasek were named founding partners at Brazos Investment Partners, a private equity firm raising its first fund. The third founding partner is Jeff S. Fronterhouse, a former principal at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. The firm will focus on small and medium-sized businesses, concentrated in Texas and the southwest. Mr. McGee also had been a principal at Hicks Muse. Roy Winnick, spokesman for Hicks, said Mr. McGee’s duties will be assumed by other members of the organization. Mr. Fojtasek had been chairman at Atrium Cos., which was formerly owned by Hicks Muse and was sold to General Electric this year.
