NEW YORK -- SunAmerica Mutual Funds launched the Focused Value Portfolio, which invests in 30 or fewer stocks selected by three of SunAmerica's investment subadvisers.
Martin Whitman of Third Avenue Funds, Phillip Davidson of American Century Investments and William Fries of Thornburg Funds each select 10 stocks for the fund. This is the third multimanager fund launched by SunAmerica since it started the series last year. The Focused funds allow investors to embrace the best ideas of several managers simultaneously.
