John Hailer was named president of New England Funds by Nvest. He replaces Bruce Specca, who will head a new Nvest affiliated Internet company as its president and CEO. Mr. Hailer joined New England Funds in 1998 and most recently had been managing director and executive vice president, overseeing mutual fund marketing and sales.
