City of Fitchburg (Mass.) Retirement System hired Sirach Capital Management to run a $27 million core fixed-income portfolio and Wellington Management to run a $24 million core equity portfolio. Funding for the $65 million system’s new managers comes from Family Bank, which was terminated because of high portfolio manager turnover, according to Kevin Leonard, the Segal Advisors consultant who assisted.
