NEW YORK -- Keith F. Girard has been named editor of InvestmentNews, a sister publication of Pensions & Investments. He joins the weekly publication, which targets financial advisers, Nov. 1.
Most recently Mr. Girard was editor-in-chief of The Daily Record, Maryland's largest and oldest business and legal newspaper.
"We believe Mr. Girard will take InvestmentNews to a new level of success with his award-winning editorial talent, experience and knowledge," said William T. Bisson Jr., publisher of both InvestmentNews and P&I.
Before The Daily Record, Mr. Girard was a reporter at The Washington Post and a contributing editor for several magazines.
Mr. Girard also is the author of "Remembering the Gulf War; The U.S. Marines in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm" published by Byrd Press in 1991.
