Barton T. Jones will become senior vice president and general counsel of The Church Pension Fund Group, which serves the Episcopal Church, in December. He is currently a partner with the law firm Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts, from which he is taking an indefinite leave of absence.The Church Pension Fund Group consists of a pension fund, a life insurance company, a property and casualty insurance company and a publishing company.
