New York Common Retirement Fund, Albany, with $110 billion in assets, invested $750 million in an EAFE index fund that will be managed by Barclays Global Investors; the fund also committed an additional $150 million to a Core/EAFE account managed by Bank of Ireland, said New York state Comptroller H. Carl McCall. The investments are funded from cash.
