Beverly Hamilton, president of ARCO Investment Management Co., said four members of her pension staff are looking for other opportunities in the investment industry. Jeff Anderson, controller; Jim Miller, head of fixed income; Chen Gu, Asia portfolio manager; and Renee Goupillaud, who oversees external managers for ARCOs pension and savings plans, are looking for jobs, although the companys merger with BP Amoco has yet to be approved by shareholders. Ms. Hamilton will leave the company once the deal is done. "It is our understanding that BP Amoco will take over responsibility for managers and will decide how they fit together, she said. After 30 years in the investment industry, Ms. Hamilton plans to serve on mutual fund and investment company boards of directors. She already sits on the boards of Commonfund and UAM. Ms. Hamilton and her staff now oversee the $2.5 billion defined benefit plan and $1 billion defined contribution plan of Atlantic Richfield, Los Angeles.
