Charles Schwab created a new title vice chairman for five of its senior executives. All report to president and co-CEO David S. Pottruck, are among 17 members of Schwabs management committee and sit on the planning committee. The new vice chairmen are: John Philip Coghlan, enterprise president of services for investment managers and retirement services; Linnet F. Deily, president of the retail group; Lon Gorman, enterprise president of capital markets and trading; Dawn Lepore, chief information officer; and Steven Scheid, executive vice president of mutual funds, consumer products, finance, brokerage and corporate services. Christopher V. Dodds was promoted to CFO from executive vice president of finance, as part of a transition from Mr. Scheids control. Mr. Scheid took on additional responsibilities last year.
