William Sterling, former managing director of global equities at Credit Suisse Asset Management, said he is in the process of setting up a global investment firm that will be based in New York. Mr. Sterling, who left CSAM a few weeks ago, said former CSAM colleagues Stephen Waite and Ian Borsook, who left the firm at the same time, would join him in the new venture. The new company does not yet have a name but should be up and running money by Labor Day.
