Brad Warner of BankBoston will lead the investment services group at Fleet Boston, according to today’s announcement of leadership appointments for the merged entity of Fleet Financial Group and BankBoston. Thomas O’Neill will remain as Fleet’s CIO for institutional and retail assets. Gary Anderson of Fleet will continue as director of retirement products and Fleet’s Robert Ash will be head of the Fleet Boston mutual fund operation. Ronald Gwozdz will serve as director of institutional investment sales; he was Fleet’s managing director for large institutional sales. John Kemp will remain managing director of Columbia Management, a Fleet-owned investment management subsidiary.
