Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, narrowed a search for a midcap growth U.S. equity manager to three finalists and is expected to make a decision at its May 3 board meeting, said Dan Bryant, CIO for the $10.2 billion fund. Incumbents NM Capital, Fleet Financial, George D. Bjurman and Wellington Management all rebid.Mr. Bryant, who declined to name finalists pending notification, said the four incumbents run a total of $300 million. The search was prompted by contract expirations.
