Stichting Pensioenfonds Wolters Kluwer Nederland plans to convert its 600 million guilder ($294 million) Dutch bond portfolio into eurozone bonds later this year. The portfolio now is internally managed but the Deventer, Netherlands-based fund might use both external and internal managers when it converts the bond portfolio, said Jaap van Wieringan, head of investments.
Meanwhile, the 1 billion guilder publishing company fund has switched an 85 million guilder Dutch equity portfolio into a new eurozone index EMU fund run by Barclays Global Investors.
