Jon Hickman joined Jurika & Voyles as vice president and portfolio manager, part of the expansion of the company’s small-cap portfolio management team.
Mr. Hickman previously was senior vice president and managing director at Wells Capital Management, where he was team leader of the aggressive equity group and responsible for Wells’ small-cap and midcap growth strategies.
Mr. Hickman also was lead portfolio manager of the Stagecoach Strategic Growth and Small-Cap mutual funds.
Thomas Zeifang, who worked with Mr. Hickman on the aggressive equity team for the last four years, was promoted to vice president and principal and assumed Mr. Hickman’s duties, said Daphne Larkin, a Wells Capital spokeswoman.
