Washington State Investment Boards public markets committee interviewed 12 finalists in its search for an undetermined number of active, developed market, international managers to run $2.5 billion, said John Lynch, RFP coordinator for the $46 billion pension system. Finalists are: Artisan Partners; Nicholas-Applegate; Pyrford International; TT International; Delaware International Advisers; INVESCO; Lazard; Putnam; Credit Suisse Asset Management; Dresdner RCM; Oechsle International Advisors; and current manager Clay Finlay. The Olympia-based board will vote on the committees recommendations April 15, Mr. Lynch said. Its benchmark is the MSCI ACWI ex-U.S. index.
