John K. Schneider will manage the $645 million PIMCO Renaissance Fund for PIMCO Equity Advisors. The fund formerly was managed by a subsidiary, Columbus Circle Investors, prior to PIMCO’s reorganization of its equity mutual fund management activities. Mr. Schneider previously worked at Schneider Capital, a firm owned by his brother, Arnold Schneider. Officials at Schneider Capital did not return calls by press time regarding his replacement.
