New Jersey Division of Investment, Trenton, is searching for a deputy director, said Steven Kornrumpf, director of the system, which runs $72 billion in pension assets. The position has been vacant since September, when Mr. Kornrumpf was promoted to director. Candidates must have "experience in managing large amounts of institutional money, he said. Mr. Kornrumpf said he will screen candidates, but the final decision will be made by Treasurer James DiEleuterio. A decision is expected by the end of May.
