Castle Harlan Partners III has completed the acquisition of AMR Services, a subsidiary of AMR Corp., the parent of American Airlines. Investors in the fund include the pension funds of American Airlines; Bell Atlantic; BP Amoco; the states of New Hampshire, Michigan and Oregon; and the endowments of MIT and Brown University. Castle Harlan, the merchant bank that manages the $630 million private equity fund, renamed the acquisition Worldwide Flight Services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
