Sens. Bob Graham, D-Fla., and Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, Feb. 24 announced plans to re-introduce their Pension Coverage and Portability Act in early March. The bill would make it easier for workers to take their retirement savings with them from job to job and for small businesses to offer retirement plans, as well as ensuring women have fair access to pensions. The legislation, which was first introduced last year, will include some new provisions. "The need for better retirement income security has never been greater. I look forward to working with Sen. Graham on this comprehensive legislation, said Mr. Grassley, chairman of the Senate Aging Committee.
