Vice President Al Gore Feb. 11 announced the administrations plan to soon introduce legislation packaging the White House pension proposals contained in the federal budget for fiscal 2000. The pension proposals, with an estimated price tag of $1.03 billion over five years, include provisions to make it easier for working Americans to take their retirement savings from job to job, to encourage small businesses to set up pension plans and to ensure women get adequate pension income.
