School Employees’ Retirement System of Ohio, Columbus, is searching for a domestic fixed-income manager to replace Sanford C. Bernstein, which was terminated for performance reasons, said Thomas Anderson, executive director of the $7.5 billion fund. Roger Hertog, president of Sanford C. Bernstein, did not return phone calls by press time. The firm will continue to manage international equity and emerging market equity for the fund. Finalists are expected to be selected by the trustees’ next meeting on Feb. 18 and 19, and interviews may be conducted at that meeting. The portfolio’s size has yet to be determined.
