National Automotive Dealers and Associates Retirement Trusts, McLean, Va., intends to begin reviewing its manager lineup shortly ``and see where we can make any improvement,'' said Cynthia A. Hargadon, director of investments.
The $3.4 billion trusts comprise three funds: NADART, a defined contribution plan that consists of a commingled pool with separately managed accounts; the income fund, which invests in short-term fixed-income investments; and the Choice plan, a 401(k)-type fund, which offers nine investment options.
The NADART fund currently uses five managers with seven portfolios, Ms. Hargadon said.
It recently endorsed its current asset allocation of 60% in equities and 40% in fixed income.
