San Jose (Calif.) Federated City Employees' Retirement System narrowed a search for one small-cap value and one large-cap value U.S. equity manager to three finalists for each, said Ina Lancaster, financial analyst for the $1 billion fund. Approximately $30 million is allocated for the small-cap manager and $75 million for the large-cap one, said Ms. Lancaster, who wouldn't name the finalists. Funding will come from rebalancing. A decision is expected by April.
