John Crocker has taken over as CIO of the Toronto-based Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan, said Edward Baker. Mr. Baker, the former CIO of the Canadian $14.5 billion (US$9.5 billion) plan, said he will stay on as an adviser.
Mr. Crocker formerly was CIO for Scotia Cassel Investment Counsel, the money management subsidiary of Nova Scotia Bank. Scotia Cassel is currently seeking a new CIO, Mr. Crocker said.
